Will do MM. :-o

I've been thinking of a couple of other routes to take with this Mini-T. You might just get surprized at the end.

I no longer have a Stock Mini-T. I traded it to Hazmat.

This one is TOTALLY aftermarket.

The servo came the other day. Damn, is it a sweet servo.:-D

I still need....

Rear axle pins

A full tranny gear bag. (It looks like that is the only way I'm getting the gear I need.)

Green Velcro Starps

New Lexan (I screwed up the first one's paint job. Bad.)

Still looking for aluminum extended body posts. (I got the plastic ones just incase I can't find them.)

I need to glue the tires onto the rims.

I think thats about it.

Almost there. :-o

sorry if I looked over it but, what body did you decide on?

Edit - must H2 or something similar since you need extended mounts....

SG, you see my post on R7R about the servo? It's a link to pics of it all crammed into a stock chassis.

What's the status on this baby?

I'm out to pick up the new RC18B, and try my luck again at 1/18...

Are these parts a direct drop swap for the RC18 line?

Its still getting stuff done to it.

I have several different things going on with it now and a few ideas to work out. (Top Seceret Shit) I don't wanna post anything about it. Its a jinx for me to never get anything done.

Its not dusty. It get worked on occasionally.

I really couldn't tell you anything about the RC18's. I never had one and really not that familiar with them either.

Mini-T rears work front and rear on the 18T (front Mini-Ts won't), and supposedly, the dogbones can too. The 18T is a great truck.

It's a running ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to do some adjustment to make it smooth, but it has a servo, and a Mamba 4200 in it right now for testing and its real nice.

However I am having a couple of small problems.

The steering is tight and the 3 Racing servo brace freaking snapped!! Thats BS!! I have to find a way to hold down the servo. I think I'm going to end up drilling holes in the chassis and using a small metal strap across the top of the servo.

I need to add some grease to the tranny.

One of the front turnbuckles is rubbing on the spring. I'm not sure what to do. Gotta think.

Need to mount the ESC, RX, and the antenna. Plus paint a body.

It might even get entered in a race at Enfield. :)

I still have alot that I would like to do to this ride, but for now, its together and is 90% race ready.

The things I still want to do are...

Get certain parts engaved with certain things. (Top Secret)

Get certain parts anodized green.

Those are the reasons I haven't had it finished yet. I didn't want to get it all together to just rip apart again. But since I'm going on a big road trip, I put it together.

I'll post some pics of it within the next couple of days.

Later,

There are some small washers to put under the ballstuds to raise them off the center and hubs so it doesn't rub. I think I used 2 of them. (they come separately on the Mini-T pro without instructions :? )

I still need to...

-space a couple of ball posts up front

-balloon the springs with green balloons

-make a custom servo hold down

-figure out why the steering is a bit tight/adjust lengths

-grease tranny a bit

-repolish

-put ball end dust covers inside rear wheels

-paint body...dodge truck, panel truck, stock body? One for show, one for bashing/racing

-get velcro strap for the battery hold down

-glue tires? maybe, I'm not sure yet. Gotta see how they react to the overall set-up

-DRIVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! :greenblob:

I'll put up a list of parts that I used. Unless I overlooked or forgot about a part that I used. I think there is only 2 stock parts used. (3 if you count the same thing 2x.)

Anyone wanna guess?
