My Vintage Racing Progect

Whoever can tell me what this is...

Is pretty old into r/c...I know you know dave, dont give it away...

Theres the ebay picture. Everything I got works except the transmitter. The motor runs pretty strong for being made around 1992.(hint,hint)

What the...?The transmission, despite being so old, looks new. I put some grease in there to get it going even smoother. I also updated it with a modern 18 tooth pinion and a bran new 87 tooth spur gear along with 12 slipper pegs for maximum efficiency. This tranny is my favorite of all time, they are tough as nails, I beat up on the one in my Stampede all the time...I just gave it away  . The trannies are Magnum 2.72s, and the truck is a Traxxas Hawk 2.

I ran it yesterday, and it runs good for being so old. I was going to sell it off, but it runs alot better than I thought so Im going to keep it and race it occasionally to turn some heads. The shocks were literally falling apart, but I have parts coming for that. Ill keep you guys updated.

92s not that old. I still have a old Lobo II around here somewhere I got back in the 80's. Come to think of it I should dig it up and see if I can get it rolling again. Looks pretty cool though. Going old skool, my bro has a old lunchbox that still works but the contacts on the msc are worn out.

Shiat man, old lunchboxes are worth alot, check ebay. They mightve went down some though, Tamiya is releasing a new version. What exactly is a Lobo II and who makes it? Have you got a picture? For some reason it sounds like a pan car to me...

I'm thinking about picking up a re-released Hornet or Clod soon, but will probably end up buying the Mini-Z boat instead. Cool little truck dude.
