Those are the kyosho slicks (pre-glued)
I use the Kyosho Micro pins (pre-glued) on dirt, and the Proline dish wheels w/ crimefighters when racing.
BTW, that is an Aon 4900 w/ a 16.T pinion with a 3 cell TP 2100 prolite lipo. I run the ST diffs (sealed, oil-filled) in the front and the rear.
My LHS's owner has a friend in the bearing field, and he is working on getting me a 20pc set of ceramic teflon-sealed bearings for it in the next couple months.
While we are at it,
It isn't finished yet because someone was stoned when they were stocking wheels. Hence, I have 2 31mm wheels now. yeah.
I have a novak Micro GT for it (not installed), 2x Trinity Cobalt 18 (16 turn mod motors), dual disk slipper, 2 dynamite CF/alloy shock towers w/ HR body posts, and the CAW 1:10 adaptors.
I'm still waiting on the Dynamite blue chassis, and MIP diff to get here. Then it will be pretty much done until someone gets some metal gear or BB diffs out. That is, unless, the Novak ESC bites the big one. So far as I know, untested on 2 micro mod motors, but 450A max should cover it since the gearing is dropped a good bit with the 60T DD slipper.
My latest purchase: $145 shipped on ebay
It's a discontinued model from Sun Sun that I'm going to make a stock class late-model dirt oval racer. I guess I will get to use those 31mm rims afterall (however ugly they are)

so is that a "pitbull" (tm) packin' half8 in the first pic? looks tight!

Yeah, that is a pitbull with a modified CAW top plate. It's pretty dirty in that picture, but it looks better in person.
I don't know how fast the cobalts will be. First, I'm going to run gp1100s with them, and I don't have the novak installed yet, so I havn't been able to run them with some serious advancing.
Best estimates are around 25-30mph on a 6cell.

My busted ass xxx-nt awaiting a complete breakdown before the start of the racing season (march)
I will be in the pro-series in April hopefully racing my half 8, but definately my Nitro Truck.

Spektrum is good... Airtronics is good... but, more importantly, painting is good

So I'm guessing that's one of those Half 8 Infernos? I like the colors in your paint job. Personally I think some decals would fill it out better.
What wheels and tires are those you're putting on your LST?

I bought the Testor's decal printing kit from walmart, and I'm doing a "Team Illuminati" ambigram on the front and small "Driver: PimpSmurf" on the sides with a small Mamba badge.
Not done, but it's coming.
