Project MOO Cow
Project MOO Cow! You may or may not have seen my live build over on RCC.
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97118
Anyway, here is how it all started about a year ago.
Stretched with Traxxas links
65t motor
cut and reversed tires
chassis flip
and a axle mounted servo
It then transformed into this
JunFac Mudrock beadlocks
Axial Rock lizards
And its last stage before a tear down.
Uh...... oops
Front axle is complete, RC guy Special Crawlapalooza 2007 servo mount, only 4 in the world! TCS CNC'd upper link mount.
Rear axle is finished, RC4WD Straight Axle adapters, TCS CNC'd upper link mount.
Lower links and JPCustomRC 100mm shocks installed on a Double J Products "Da Bull" chassis.
One upper link made, Now just to mark and cut the rest. I slipped on some wheels and tires to see how its going to look.
Oops, I actually got so into building that I forgot to take any pictures!
We call this in Oklyhoma bur can-o-flex
Parts used
Junfac mudrock beadlock wheels
Axial Rock lizards
Axiom 55t crawler motor
Tekin Rebel2 ESC
HPI Racing RF-1 RX
Team Losi Sport TX
JP Custom RC 100mm shocks
Duratrax tranny with 62pyro locker
T-maxx drive shafts
Double J Products Da Bull Comp chassis
RC4WD straight axle adapters
TCS CNC'd Upper link mounts
JR Sport ST126MG servo
RC Guy Crawlapalooza 2007 servo mount
RC Guy Lockers
Wheely King axles
Hillman stainless and zinc plated steel hard ware used throughout.
14T Robinson Racing Pinion
82T Spur
Deans Plugs
Traxxas Stampede link ends
Here is a list of the parts I won for the build.
Da Bull chassis
RC Guy servo mount
Axiom 55t motor
Still more to come. I plan on getting a Parma 1/10 50's Panel Truck body, and have it painted up like a Cow, after all its Project MOO Cow.
Thank you for reading.

Shaun that looks great, its really nice work but I do have one question, why did you take your clothes off to shoot the pictures? (picture three, bottom of the pic.)

Looks great Shaun.
You should cover you links with something. Brakeline, CF tube, aluminum tube...
I will recommend CF tube. You can get it free from Gander Mountain in the arrow cutting section, just ask to see their box of scrap. (or another place that cuts arrows and has scrap)
The reason I like it so much is that I ran Prometheus for 2 years and only had to replace 2 or 3 rod ends and 2 pieces of CF tube.
The tubes got a small smash in them and the rod ends were old.
The reason they hold up so good is that they go down over the rod end and keep it from flexing with the rod. Eliminates the pressure on the threads and the rod end plastic.
Again, the truck looks great and congrats on winning the parts.

Sidewinder, thank you for the compliment.
SG, thanks for the info and compliment, I was going to sleeve them, but never thought of carbon fiber!
CD, I like the upper link mounts they are strong and you get 2 for $25, I really didn't want to pay that for them but I didn't have many other options.
Here is a list of things that need to be done
Replace all upper links with 4-40 allthread and stampede link ends
Losi Claws(plan on using the rocklizards on a 2.2 scaler)
Sleeve links
40wt shock oil
I got it running last night, need a strap for the battery. and the tranny is not going to work for me, it has a bad clicking and slipping noise, it has a 62pyro locker for the diff. There is a space between the out put shaft and the trans housing. I put the spacer in it that came with it, but no luck.
