Mazda's First Nitro
I have always wanted one of these, and always had an eye on my friend Andrew's. Well, it has sat at my other friend Josh's house for eight months now. I was going to buy ti before for around $50, but I didnt have enough cash. Now, with some wheeling and ealting with Josh on some Mini-T parts he had to off for the XXX-T i traded for from dcsk8terboy, I finally got it. I traded the XXX-T to Josh for the Mini-T parts, and for him to pay Andrew the $25 I offered him for the car. It is a Super Nitro Rally RS4. It has the stock NItro Star .15FE, RC10GT pipe, 1100mah nimh rx pack, futaba s3003 standard servos, RC18 Rx, iwaver Tx, and GH front aluminium arms. It also has a 2-speed optional tranny! We got it running last night, and it is fast as hell. It was really clean, but it started to sprinkle last night and we were running on gravel. I plan to get a CVEC pipe, HPI Stage 3 upgrade kit, new WRX body, Ti-Turnbuckles, GH rear Arms, and a few other odds and ends. I re-skinned and balooned the Rx pack, Balooned the Rx, and added new fuel line. I need to buy a new aair filter (probablaly for a .21 buggy), a fuel bottle, and a throttle linkage to get brakes working agian and I am set. I also have a green antenna tube for it in my box. Josh bought me a 1/2 gallon of Byron fuel because it was on sale and I saved him from getting ripped off. I also bought a mettered glow igniter with charger and nicd for $18. Heres the pic, more when I clean it up!

Now that I am into nitro, I don't think I will be going back to electric.

will josh discover the truth about his painful past?
will andrew and dcksk8tertoy's evil plans come to fruition?
like sands through the hourglass.........
but seriously that should be lotsa fun. i'm a fan of hpi stuff, well built and engineered stuff.

Hah betty, that was great.
Seriously though, its a great car. I need a servo saver for the throttle servo so I can use the brakes, but as long as I don't open it up much, it should be fine. I'm about to go get a Plug and a bottle. More pics will come when I have it cleaned up better.
