I assume most of you have heard of the rapper DMX? If so you probably know that he like his off vehicles, but did you know he's a big into RC? He was aaying has about 30 cars, planes heli, all of that. His hobby store in Scottsdale closed, and after getting screwed by Hobby Bench (Yep them fuckers are still at it!) he picked our Hobbytown as his shop of choice. We were hanging out racing my Micro Desert trucks on the dnano track when he came in the other day. The guys have been telling him about my paint jobs so we were promptly introduced. After showing him some of my work, he got my number and put it in his cell phone. I'm going to be painting a '65 Impala, an El Camino, and a Scottsdale Police bodies for him. Then he raced one of my desert trucks around the track for a bit, while he waited for the receiver battery to charge on the Baja 5T he just bought. Afterward we met him and his posse at what's become the local RC meeting spot. My friend, Adam, caught some video on his cell phone.

This one is funny, because he almost takes out his partner Jerome with his Nitro TC3.

That's figgin' awesome! Maybe I'll luck out and Meghan Fox will have an RC obsession too! That would make my Christmas very merry.

Well, you can see from the video that he is willing to give it a try, but he might hurt someone in the process.

Haven't seen him since that day, but he did get my number, so who knows. Hopefully I can do some painting for him.

i'm not too much into his stuff but i remember years ago in my dj days an artist called john carter sampled one of his tracks.

the track was called "women beat their men", see if you can get a copy and send it to me!!!


i'm surprised more celebs aren't into rc, it's the next big thing after fixed wheel bikes imo.....
