i just finished peeling off the last of the tape, and then tomorrow I'll put on the highlights.

looking good. Are you going to put lights behind the N/P areas or just leaving them blank so they look like glass?

I've got light buckets with this shell, so I'll be painting those either chrome (depending on if I can get the chrome) or silver, then installing a set of LED's. yellow for the inner ones, white for the outer.

not dead, just took a day off.

Update time!

the metallic and silver backing coat is on. It looks like it turned out pretty well, but until I pull off the protective sheet it's somewhat hard to tell.

Tomorrow will be the final black coat to detail and seal.

that is looking good...it will be almost a shame to drive it and risk messing it up.

thought i'd do the black coat today but I just went 'I'd rather play a video game'. Glad I did. Tomorrow is a new day, and if i'm not wiped from the day, i'll finish it and throw up new pictures.

just a quick update... i haven't forgotten about this build or this thread. I'm simply waiting on some parts to arrive and I should be able to finish this.
