Pimpin' Green Trucks

I've been workin' on these for a little while now and finally got around to throwin' them up.

The Large truck is an IW02 chassis that has been streched with a custom made Clear lexan T-plate and the body from a $10 Nikko clearence RC truck from KB.

It has been painted with Green Metalcast Andodized Spray Paint and coated with Future Floor polish. You may notice a couple of spots on the front bumper that are chipped. That was due to my impatience. I wanted to play before I protected it with the Future.

I still have to make the custom vinyl decals or find them and also make the front body mount. Right now its just the side body clips holding it on. it will have a slight rake to it when the front mount gets installed.

The front inside grill was covered in Bare Metal Foil, compliments of Bird.

The small truck is a ZZSE body that had all the trim removed and painted with the same paint as the large truck. It has also been coated with Future a couple of time and will receive the same decal package as the larger truck.

It has the ZZ purple motor with the green ZZ gear package and wides in the back.

Each trucks rims match as close as possible.

You can see in this next pic that it is in need of the front body mount.

Here is the shot of some of the damage. The only time I can drive it is over at Bird's with his IW controller. So when I had the chance I took it. My IW controller is a POS!!! Thats why it's missing paint. Plus, it was the inagural track session that night.

More pics in my gallery.

I hope to have this done sometime before summer.

You shuuure do like the green, huh?

They almost match, except the little one's got fatties in the back, like midwestmulletstyle, and the big one's sitting low in the back, like westcoastlowriderstyle.:???:
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Oh, I'm obsessed with GREEN!!

The little one needs the fatties to handle well, thats the only reason those are on there. The big one is real low, and the front will be lower once I put the front clip on it, and that will give it a slight rake.

I just wish I could drive the IW02. But I need a controller. :-(

Its so much fun to drive!!

Wait till you see the decals I have planned for these!!

Easily your best work to date SG, love em both! You said twards the end somthing along the line that these are not finished? What else do you plan to do? Oh and also, love the clear pics, I guess it's snowing in hell. Also you know how I personally feel about green on cars, but truck wise, it works perfect. Killer job SG.

Thats for the props. I'm glad it shows that the paint jobs are getting better.

@Finks....I still need to put the front mount on the big truck and matching decals on both. I have to search for the decals and the rights sizes. It could be awile before I find them, so I posted them as they are now.

Your tellin me.

Anyways, if that's the case, may I suggest that you paint the front bumper and grill on the IWaver Black and Silver to match the Zip? Kill two birds this way by giving it a finished look and covering up those chips. Just an idea.

@ Finks......I meant in hell. Brrrr......It's snowing.

Shit, it was 60-something and sunny today. Allthough this weekend it will be down into the teens.

I'm going to fully do up the bumpers and everything to match. I just needed to post it for that extra, "Hey, get that shit together.", kinda encouragement, and I wanted opinions before I went any further too.
Plus, I really don't mind the chips that much. After all, I am going to beat on it once its totally done and probably during its finishing touchs also.

I need to get an ASS shot of it. I forgot to take one. I have some bitchin' ass exhaust pipes on the biggy!!

I also found a controller to drive it!!!! My Mini-T controller works with my Iwavers and my Overland!!! Thats sweet shit, because before that, i had to be at Bird's crib to drive any of my Iwavers.

@ Hiroto.....That green fuckin' kicks ass!!! Especially over that gold. No preferance. If it helps you along though, I like the 350z and anything like a truck. But anything hooked up by you would be awsome!!! Please, don't go out of your way or anything to track something down.

No big deal. You've helped me out on many occasions, so it's the least I can do.
