Just got around to posting pics of the new G35

You can see how much body damage the GTR has seen so far. Look at how much has been ripped off of the front air dam. Thanks to Superfly and Maxx for the Volk style wheels.
Here are the two Skylines in drift spec.

A buddy of mine goofing off.

If you're wondering why I call them both Skylines, in japan, the G35 is the V35 Skyline, as Nissan doesn't market Infiniti there (until recently).

Now, I had heard they're based off the same chassis, but isn't the Skyline AWD, and the G35 2WD? I don't know, I'm just curious.
I wouldn't mind a G35 in real life, nice cars.

nice pics, but Linus sucking his thumb while holding his blanket isn't as cool as a Homie.

Linus was one of the more kick ass Peanuts though.

I don't know, I thiink the new "skyline" shell looks like it's made of cheep plastic. At the very least, it looks like a model, not a real car like most Xmods.

Well the 34 Series Skylines on the R platforms were discontinued in August of 2004, to be replaced by the V Series Skylines on the FM platform, shared with the Z. In America, the car is called the Infiniti G35, while in Japan, it's the (new) Nissan Skyline. This stuff gets confusing sometimes. Soon there will be the new GTR in 2006 as an '07 model, and its coming to America too.
For the shadow, it is just the controller at an awkward andle. Linus just happened to be in the pic by accident along with the rest of the mess.

The infinity is to nissan, as lexus is to toyota. Sorry to say, but you americans just couldn't accept having an "import" . So what the two companies did (and they're not the only 2), was to rebadge their cars with a more luxurious edge and sell it to the wanting americans. So the G35 is a more executive skyline, and the IS300 is a classier Altezza.
I think nissan and infinity was a merger
But you get it

and the IS300 is a classier Altezza.
But with the 2JZ-GE, while the Altezza is powered by the 3S-GE. The Japan Altezza gets an available six-speed too.
And America isn't the only one with the "other brand-names." Most of western Europe gets them too.

Finnaly got the camera back. Now for some damage pics. Remember, this damage happened less than a month after I bought it. It now sits one-wheel-drive, and missing the fourth wheel that broke off.
The broken axle-shafts. The shiny part is what's left of the fourth wheel
Broken shock tower. I would just snap it back into place after a crash.
