Very nice. Once again, great photography. You have just the right kind of dirt to give your tires a very 1:1 look. Your brush guard looks great, and functional as well. I'm unfamiliar with the off-road chassis, is that an Overland or an Xmod Evo with lift kit? My only criticism would be looking at getting rid of all that red under there before jumping in to the roof rack. Painting the red stuff either silver or black would go a long ways toward making that look even more 1:1.
What was the tip about the PN S03? Just that it's a good motor? I have one as well. Finally, after a year of fucked up MR02 PCB, I performed a successful surgery and have my nelly installed and attached to an S03. I either have to get grippier tires (I'm already on 10s), a larger track (not much room left), or I gotta get a less powerful motor. I can't even use 80% of my throttle range with the nelly/S03 combo.

Xmod Evo with lift kit. Stiffer front springs help to solve steering problem.
Yeah, SuperFly you are 100% right . Painting the under body is the priority here. SO3 is a direct drop in. stock fets seem to handle it just fine. When punched into full throtle on carpet rear sags . wheelie is hell of a crowd pleaser. It would climb the hill in pic 06 and jump as it reaches the top.
for your miniz, try the foam tyres for xmod. i have SO4+fets in mine. foams made it possible for me to ride it on tennis court. twin tack tape or glue them.

I was looking at them Hummers in the store. I'm thinking I really want one.
The one I saw looked jacked up, but they said it came out of the package like that. Do the Hummers come with the off road kit?

I think they have the driveshafts come with the AWD? I HAVE to get this truck now.. I don't really care if others say it sucks compared to the OL, well, because I can't afford one

I have to wait a few weeks and see if my report card is any good so I can get one of these... Or even possibly an OL

CD, no they don't come with off road kit (about $15 to get one).
It's pretty good in stock form. They come in two length options H2 shorter, F-150 longer.
MA, I'm yet to try to fit car body on it (it looks so good and detailed i wouldn't wanna change anything)
Now, in comparison to OL.... OL can suck dick.
$60 vs. $150. 4WD vs. 2WD. hot motor like SO3 vs. X-Speed. You decide.
I spend $120 and got : the truck, bearings, 4wd, lift kit and lots of fun.
I used to have OL, cool little bugger but no comparison to this one. On OL
I broke motor pod mounts front and rear, disintegrated bunch of gears including alloy( all on first month) . It's electronics are in my drifter Xmod.
Xmods evo truck does have it's weak points like front suspention gets funky with lift kit(stiffer springs fixed that), rear pivoting point gets stuck if ran in the sand( some plastic cover fixed that too).
Xmods propo controls are far from best but there is always iwaver to help out. Once alloy parts are available for evo truck OL is toast.
It is fresh still, so i'm yet to see the damage i can inflict on it but so far so good. I'll get pics of the chassis in a day or two.
Feel free to give some pointers as why does it suck compared to the OL.

Ynad sweet ride and vary nice pictures vary realistic settings! I like the H2 body and that brush guard is cool!
I have an Overland and I would have to see the Xmod chassis to tell the difference. I do agree the chassis needs some paint and the realism will be complete!

Coolness, Ynad!! Threads like this make me want to get one of those!
I need to get my hands into an X-Mod, looks like this might be the ticket for starters.
Is it actually fun to drive it around and 4x4 with it?
Or are ya nervous to let loose and go all out cuz of breakage?
Tell us more when ya can, I'll be watching this thread.

Haha, you have a very good point on this. I've just browsed around on some other forums, and they dont like it, but they can...
I do admit I like this more than the OL though...

So the trucks have a different chassis than the cars?
I'm sorry, I'm like way confused, and trying to decide what I want.

Yeah dave, it seems like the trucks are longer. And have a different rear pod. I'd still like to know if the driveshaft was shorter, could you mount a car body on there? Some one please do it (try) and let me know

Thanks dudes
Yeah CD, like SHAUN said:
To mount the car body on the evo truck you would have to get a shorter drive shaft and , the peice on the back of the truck where the articulation piont is would have to be shorter.
Maxximum Attack, the xmods car body would be too short (will post pics later), but 1/24 scale conversin would be much easier.
@ MotorGong. It is lot of fun to take it 4x4, it really does it. Even withot lift kit
it was fun to off road. lack of clearance in stock form is disapointing but 4wd
helps a lot.
Or are ya nervous to let loose and go all out cuz of breakage?
fuck no! after all a replacement patrs kit is only $60

i'm yet to see them parts break.
I'll try ot get some video going. It jumps hills, throws dirt from under wheels in most realistic

way. If running with open diff wheels take turns at spinning, which creates awsome effect.
I would suggest to lock the rear diff, big difference.
So far the only problem would be the pivoting point of the rear pod.
Sand as it gets between plastic parts locks pivoting action.
And the only uncomfot is the lack of steps in the propo controles.
But this I think cold be expected from RatHack.
After all it is way bellow $100 mark.
