When Clint put a Xmod body on his SS MT, I got an idea to do something kinda the same, but really totally different... I put a SS MT body on my Iwaver.

If you've seen this body stock, you know it looks like a school bus, the short one. So I hacked the back off, and sprayed it silver. There, no more school bus. :-o

Guess ya hacked off the rear-view mirror too? lol
I'm suprised how well it fits.
In that last shot, am I seeing the body rubbing against the tire or is just the angle of the shot that's messing with me?

Looks good in silver, I guess since you got some blue in the shocks you talked yourself out of putting any blue on the body? lol
I know you're a silver/blue nut.

So you gonna betty.k that thing up? Is this the new thrashing lid?

As usual dave, you make it look right. Such clean work would mak a noob pester you for the store you bought that H1 iWaver from :-o. Then they'd think you're shittin' them when you say you did it yourself.

Primo work my friend.

I'm sorry, you lost me. :-? Are the side mirrors odd? They came that way, I thought they looked odd, but I don't know. I'm not really a big fan of fullsize Hummers. I just like the way RC ones look.

Yeah, so am I, and I had this for a couple months now, just never did the math, and put it together before.

Yes, you are, I stuck the body on angled forward right before the shots, in retrospect I don't think I was thinking so good. I rounded the corner if the wheel well so it doesn't rub, normally.

I just like how H1s have that bare metal look when they're silver. I really tried to talk myself into blue, or even painting it to match my Xmod H2.
So you gonna betty.k that thing up? Is this the new thrashing lid?
Indoor thrashing, I keep the Iwaver indoors nowdays, I'm still finding dust in that thing from that vid I took. The stock body is still my favorite thrasher body, because it weighs nothing, and its ugly enough, that not only do I not give a damn if it gets smashed, I think it would be pretty damn cool.

Heck yeah it was. $10 for the body, motor, gears, tires, wheels, and shocks... but wait, could an after Christmas clearance be coming up soon? I'm thinking so, that's why I'm holding off on replacing my broken SSMT.

I'm slow sometimes, maybe I should have kept it the short bus.

I should have made a window, a little oval window would have been cool. :???:

A feast for the senses man! I really like that paint job that silver just brings out every rivet in the body and every line that is really cool!

So can you still add the back window? :???:

Then go out to your nearest Toys r' us and get one of them HUmmer bodies. Its like 10 bucks. Nice job CD, at first glance I thought that was an Autoscale painted up, it just looks really professional.
