Xmod EVO Corvette
Here's my attempt at making a Xmod EVO race worthy. I've still got some work to do. But here's what I've got so far.
Specs;
Nelly EVO
Anima modified motor
AWD
CF shaft
bb
Weight reduction (as seen)
Wheels modified to accept Z-class tires
Kyosho stock tires (works nicely)
shrink rap in key locations on the antenna to keep it from hitting the motor or other components.

I like the paint job alot! You got some mean ass color choices man. Something about your choices of blue mixes that got me starin...
Anyhow I got one concern, and it's the rims...are they stayin that way? If so they are not bad, but when it comes to the Corvette I find five stars go hand in hand...that is just my opinion though, it doesnt bring down the ride, it's a small suggestion from a perhaps lesser figure lol...
Sweet ride, does that thing boogie or what? I'd like to see some vids of your cars man, you got mean mr-02s and EVOs, it would be a kick ass addition to your comparison articles.

I might change those wheels. They were the gold Lancer wheels. You're right though, some 5 spokes might really set it off.MafiaS wrote:I like the paint job alot! You got some mean ass color choices man. Something about your choices of blue mixes that got me starin...

Here's a little update.

Now I can call this race worthy. This thing hauls nutz. The paint is holding up very well. I slammed into a table leg head on at full speed with this set up and there was only a small smudge where it hit and a few tiny cracks in certain places. If it had been a Mini-Z it would have easily shattered. This thing hit hard. I had about 15 feet in front of that table leg just punching it.
This is the E.L.P.A. kit from here; http://www.one28thrc.com/tbar.htm

I've heard good things about the ELPA but I've heard better things about these:
http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php? ... ts_id=1244
They are the lipos Ph2t uses in his kit. Buy 2 units off that site and you can make 3 lipo kits for your 1:28th. All you need is some soldering skills and the correct charger.
