VW BUS 1/10

Post by steelwoolghandi »

I bought this body online thru eBay about 8 months ago and have just gotten around to doing something with it. The body was custom made in the UK. The body had no blanks for the windows or any decals so I had to do that all myself.

The chassis is a Tamiya M-03 and is a 210 MM so it’s not easy to find bodies for this chassis. I taped off the windows and painted it with metallic teal and plain white. The lights and VW badge are printed out then I used special adhesive to apply the pictures of the lights inside.

The brass posts are temporary until I can get new posts for the chassis.

Sorry about the crappy pictures I will post better ones tomorrow.

thanks man ya its a Kamtec body vary old school, no window masking, not a lot of detail and no protective fillm on the outside to keep off overspray.
It was not any easy paint job, I used vinyl trim for the windows and the trim between the teal and white it was car trim I found at walmart
