I love the look of classic trucks and I finally got my hands on the Parma Classic Custom body so off to the paint booth it went.

Image

Yeah, went red with this one.

Yes that is red automotive pinstripes (I love using them to hide errors in the paint.) and the silver flames are also an automotive pinstripe.

The Team Associated and the 4WD decals came from the RC18B body decal set and the grill tail-lights and custom decals are from the Parma decal sheet for the body.

The body clips are Losi's but bent 90 degrees to remove easier.

Still have some 24th scale NASCAR driver figures from my slot car days so I painted one for this truck. I do like having a driver in the truck.

I'm planning on putting a clear spoiler on the rear to help on the track.

Let me know what you think.

Oooooo, you got one of those Driven Productions gear covers. How is it?

I wanna get one of those before I run mine out front, with all the gravel around.

It completely covers the pinion and spur gears. The only problem I can see is that the battery sits a few millimeters forward and looks like it might hit the steering linkage (It bearly clears). I plan on running it on the track to see if there are any problems before trying it on the dirt.

I do have to say it is a well thought out piece.
