Cool, we'll have to have a Friday Eve soon. My office is also a pretty good place to fly. It's kind of fun to see how close you can hover over the track while someone is driving.

LOL, I actually like to buzz the track at full speed, I can get mine to fly fast enough you can't catch it!!!!
Will keep you guys informed about the Mall Fly as things progress, and yes fridays sound good but not this week. Bird is in the hospital again, hope to get her out sometime this weekend or early next week.

Cabo, I guess I should have expanded a little bit. The post was aimed at Fly and Hue who both know Bird pretty well...she is my wife...Bird is short for Birdie which is a derivative of Roberta....sorry
She will be fine, the problem she has can be serious but she is past that (we hope) and should be on the down side of this. Hope to have her home soon.....on the up side it does give me lots of time to practice flying uninterupted (but I would trade all that just to have her home)
Thanks for the concern

Nice! That almost looks like a CAD/CAM cutout.
Does that rotor stabilizer mod work pretty well? I've been geting more and more shimmy in my shaft.

Fly, that mod is a "MUST DO", you won't believe the difference.
And, removing the gear covers, plus burning a hole it's ass....so you can lube the top and bottom bushings.

Hhhhmmmm....nah! But it will get some proper landing skids, the body is now mounted and I still have about 1 1/2 grams to play with.

it flys really well too, I secured an appropriate lead fishing weight in the nose before painting, no more tacks stuck in the nose!

What did you use and how did you paint it?
I know that rattle can paints will melt foam, something to do with the propellants. I've seen it happen and it does look cool if you are going to that look.
I know if I'm painting foam for scenery piece for my wargaming I have to hit it with a big brush and acrylic paints. To spray it you have to coat the foam with a sealer of thinned white glue.
