It's an upper floor, smaller lobby area. Those are elevator doors on some floor above ground floor.
You can see the elevator buttons around 0:44 and even before that you can see the framing.
It led me to believe Silverlit is just some dude with a little bit of money that had an idea to put together 2 different aspects of RC and is trying to make it happen from his home, and he filmed just outside his door - where he'd normally catch the elevator to go down and outside.

Man would that thing be fun with pets or what? 
You could drive up to your cat or dog that's gotten used to your RCs and doesn't bother with the slower ones anymore. Then when it is just laying there watching the truck in front of it a helicopter pops out and starts flying around Fido's head.
