The bits:

8.5x21mm coreless motors (holy balls these are strong motors)
Hubsan X4107C frame
nQX board (AKA flight controller, or FC)
2x 380mah 1s lipos
1x 650mah 1s lipo
Landing gear from a nine eagles solo
Carbon fiber tube
Bic pen (it has to be Bic, otherwise it doesn't fit inside the tube)
and a little bit of plasticard.

so why are you using the nqx fc? is it so you can use a decent tx?

i've got a hubsan 107c specifically for chopping up and making larger, as you said those motors are strong!

gimme a close up of how you fitted the bic pen inners, did you just drill into the motor pods?

couldn't wait!

got some ladybird props on the way, the wider stance makes yaw act slower and stranger. bigger props should help.

hey, I saw that on facebook, and I was the one who asked about those booms.

The nQX board makes it feel alive, however when the LVC triggers, the thing falls out of the sky like a friggin stone. So, while I can use it with my DX7, I can't really recommend using the nQX board with this.

However, the 180 qx is due to arrive soon and I might try the FC board from that instead. But this time, I'll wait for the reports first.
