The PiccoZ/PicooZ Mods List

Post by Namuna »

Ever since getting my first picoo, I've been hooked HARD on these little wonders! But there's always room for improvement!

This thread is intended to be the spot to share whatever cool mods you've seen (or came up with!) for these great Helis!

Alright, I'll kick this thing off...

How to change the channels (A, B or C) on your Picoo:

OOOOOOOooooooil the Main Rotor motor!!

You'll have to pop the gear protective cover off, but unless you're really anal about stuff getting in there, you don't need the covers (and it's a little weight savings to trash em anyway).

I keep reading mention of using 3-in-1 oil and ONLY using TINY amounts, the best method of application is to put a little on the tip of an Xacto blade and precisely put the oil right on the shaft (below the pinion). Then run the rotors for a second and do again.

Repeat 2 or 3 times and you're done.

I can definitely vouch for the fact that, if nothing else, this quiets the motor WAY down!! My heli runs MUCH quieter now!
