Oh I think metal is complete overkill, and way too much rotational mass, especially at this small scale. Delrin was actually specifically developed for gears. Hell I know a metal is overkill like shooting pigeons with a shrapnel cannon, got an aluminum HR 49T because it was the only one available at the time, with Lithium power and slightly modified motors it shredded my pinions no matter how careful I was being, go delrin.
