This is the body I have had my eye on.

I will more than likely need to extend the chassis about 3mm for it to fit right.

But will it fit?

Plus it's cool looking and futuristic I'm tending to want to stay in the truck category.

What? I would have seen you go for the dirt oval, Bilbo.

I got myself some VW. It fits perfectly changing scale slightly to a better side
Oh yeah, these little trucks are good. Glad I got one. Glad you got one too.
:-)
What brand of body did you get? I would like to get my dad one like mine, but they are hard to come by for what I'm willing to pay.

Now that's something I could see me getting. I wonder if BRP has it out for sale in stores or only eBay. :???:

I may have to bid on it.

Now all we need is a Micro T and Xmod contests to get my creative juices flowing.

Ok, I decided to order a few things for my Micro T.

I saw the bidding on the Classic Hauler body on eBay was over $12.00 plus shipping. That's when I went to BRP, Inc. because they had the clear bodies I wanted.

I ordered a set of Ball Bearings ($10.95).
One of the Stadium Truck Body ($7.95).

Then two of the Micro T Classic Hauler ($7.95 each).

Add in the $6.00 shipping the total was under $41.00.

I'm not positive but when I was putting the items in the shopping cart the shipping started at $6.00 stayed there for the entire order. That was a good price for S&H in my book.

I understand shipping costs, I handle shipping at my company. With UPS always raising their rates (and fuel surcharges) plus the costs of boxes, peanuts, bubble wrap and labor (me boxing everything) isn't getting cheaper.

I'll let you know when they arrive.

I'm thinking a simple two-tone scheme on the Hauler. I may do flames on one but I haven't painted flames on lexan in over a decade. Heck, I haven't painted a lexan slot car or rc car body in 8-9 years.

I may have to bring back the ZZzzz... Racing logo (Yes, Snooze) from my slot car days.

I think I'm gonna have to place that exact same order. :???:

So you got the bearings from BRP? If so, then they're BRP bearings and not Losi's? I think I'd prefer that.

I believe they are BRP's bearings. I'll let you know when they arrive here.

Dave, maybe you know. Is the guy that owns BRP a champion rc racer from like 15 years ago? I thought I recognized the name on the email address.

Of course I'll be posting images when I get the bodies and when they are painted.

I've been thinking of the threaded axles as the next aftermarket parts to get. Probably after I get fed up with the clips.

I really have no idea if he was a champion, but I'm pretty sure he raced at a pro level. I do remember midget man saying he met him at his local tack, so maybe he would know. You happen to be reading this m&m, or are you too busy at one of your college parties?

He's probably too buzy studying (partying) to bother with this discussion.

Well the parts haven't arrived yet, but I was having a slight problem with the truck. The motor was spinning but the truck wouldn't move. I guessed that the slipped clutch was too loose (and I was right).

I was kidding my wife about getting a second truck and she said I could when she see the first running. I only ran it for a few seconds in the house (to see if the cats wound chase it and boy yhe two younger ones did) while she was sleeping, it was when I first saw my problem. The second run was at work when the problem really hit.

Well I was taking off the transmission cover and to get a straight shot on the clutch I took off the rear wheel. I'm guessing you can think what happened.

Yep, the damn clip decided to fly. I can't locate it. I checked the bags of parts I bought for and came with the truck and there are NO EXTRA wheel clips.

I don't think I'll be able to get to a LHS that carries Losi (the LHS closest to me doesn't) until next weekend. I'll be calling around for the screw set at the shops I can hit next weekend.

Is there anyone who can help a hobbit out and send me a clip or two? hy couldn't Losi throw a few extra into the box with the body clips and pinions.

I told my wife I was thinking of getting the threaded axles. Now I know I'll be ordering them in the near future.

The Mini-T e-clip set will work for ya. Order from Stormer and they'll automatically send them Priorty mail. Should be there by the middle of the week.

Thank's Dave.

I found a hobby shop near my work that sells Losi so I'm going to call them first. It's a small place, I think I was there once, but they may have it. If not I'll be placing an online order.
