I broke one on mine alsoSHAUN wrote:Broke the fucking rear knuckle, I didn't even crash very hard and the stupid thing broke.

From my experience with bashing the crap out of my 'Pede, it was probably cracked from a previous tumble.

Well I suppose I'll end up breaking one of those too.ibjamn wrote:I broke one on mine alsoSHAUN wrote:Broke the fucking rear knuckle, I didn't even crash very hard and the stupid thing broke. That is the only thing that I've broken, too. I was sitting on a curb running them with dad, I picked it up and was going to charge it. I dropped it, only like 16-18 inches from the ground.

When I broke my pivot block it was just doing cartwheels on the carpet. I mean, I know that's not good on the car, but it happens at least ten times per run, so I didn't understand why my other one is not breaking.
Man, I went through steering hubs on my 'Pede like cigarettes. I had a pack a day habit. I don't think the Stampede was really intended to hop curbs.

Nice, The people at hobby town are pissing my off. When I talk about racing them they just act like they are toys. Already a bunch of people at adams creek wanting to race them. Hobbytown is shitty anyway They don't ever listen to what I want onyl the big sales matter to them. Just buy form the hobby shop I work at from now on even if I have to wait.

Yeah, my Hobbytown is pissing me off in similar regards. They sell Micro-Ts, but not replacement parts. I tell them, "Stock them, I will be buying them." So a month later I lose a tranny gear, I call them to see if they got it, and they're giving me that, we can special order it crap. Why would I do that when I could have it delivered to me day after tomorrow. I'd love to support local business, but they got to support me. Maybe if i keep calling for parts, and keep saying, "That's ok, I'll order from the internet." They'll get a clue.SHAUN wrote:Nice, The people at hobby town are pissing my off. Oh yeah, and I go in for Parma masking sheets, they don't sell them, so I tell them it would be wise to stock them, because that's my preffered medium, so he sticks me with a bottle of liquid mask. That crap sucks, I can mask a whole car before I let that sit overnight to dry as the bottle reccomends. Screw LHSs!

The track I go to hasn't stocked parts for the Micro-T because I'm the only one breaking them so far.
The closest LHS by me doesn't sell Losi and aren't very good about anything RC. The next closest has some Micro-T parts. The HobbyTown by my in-laws usually has the spare parts in stock.
To get a race of Micro-T's have a bunch of people show up at once demanding to race, that will get the LHS owners notice.

Well, yeah, but you should keep it because you'll probably need it soon. Maybe you can tell me this: I'm looking for the white plastic gear that meshes perpendicularly to the large metal diff gear. does that dome with the diff assembly or the tranny assembly?crazydave wrote:I bought a new tranny from the toyz.com for $13.99, but needed the middle gear, so I got an extra diff gear, want it?SuperFly wrote:So I just ground down one of the white plastic diff gears, who has those that ships in two days?crazydave wrote:So a month later I lose a tranny gear, I call them to see if they got it, and they're giving me that, we can special order it crap. Hmm, you lost me, the only metal diff gears I can think of are the tiny brass ones. Lets try it this way, you got the top gear the slipper spins on, the center gear, and the bottom diff gear. If you need the top or center, you gotta get the whole tranny. If you need any part of the bottom diff gear you got this:SuperFly wrote:Well, yeah, but you should keep it because you'll probably need it soon. Notice this place has decent prices. Haven't ordered from them yet.
Just saw this, if you need the top or middle gear, you could get this tranny set, that's minus the bottom diff for $6. Its hard to see, but the middle gear is in the pic.

Then this place sell the assembled tranny for $12.50

That's it right there. It's one of the white plastic ones that's not a ring. Not sure what the term is for a gear shaped like that.crazydave wrote:If you need the top or center, you gotta get the whole tranny. If you need any part of the bottom diff gear you got this:
