Micro T servo Wire Diagram?

Post by Sporttracguy »

I'm trying to find out what wire does what on the micro t servo. There are 5 wires: Gray, Blue, Red, Black, and White. I would assume that the black and red are the + and - and the white is probably the signal wire but what about the other two? Any help would be great.

THanks,

5 wire servos aren't really servos, they use an external control board. So instead of feeding a single control input, they use the 3 legs of the pot, and the heavy work is done somewhere else.

Black / Red - probably power
Grey / Blue - probably both sides of pot
White - probably center leg of pot

The extra two wires should go to the servo motor. That's the way it is on Xmod 5-wire servos anyways.

Thanks, I just decided to pop open the micro t servo and and there was my answer  gray and blue were + and - for the motor. The other three were for the POT.

Thanks,
