I wish I had bought one sooner this little thing is one Bad “A” Mo Fo!

Of course when I got my Micro-T the first thing I had to do is get rid of the body that was on it I am not a fan of the stadium truck so I had to find a donor body and I had to have a VW Bug!

I found my the perfect donor body in the 1/32?? Herbie VW set it has the white VW and the black one. I chose to use the black one because I liked the vents on the side. I proceeded to chop the VW up and Dremel the heck out of it!

It did not take me long to figure out how to mount it I wanted to use the same type of mounting so I just extended the rods with tube aluminum and drilled holes in it for the cotter pins. The aluminum was attached to the chassis with the help of some small screws.

The herbies came in little boxes nothing fancy I also got a VW bus. They were on sale at my Wally World for $4.95 each. The bodys are tough I slamed it into the wall on a test run and no problems. I wish I had gotten some more!

What are you planning on with the paint? I'm going with a solid color. I had thought about a 2-tone.

Got more work done on the body the color came out just the way I wanted and I added vinyl decals and KC headlights. I still have more detail work to do and will post when that is done.
