I'm waiting for the 3 Racing chassis, it is sweet I don't mind paying $39 for it either. Also Ripper7 is making chassis. You don't have to hack anything with the 3 racing one, also they are coming out with REAL oil shocks.

Yeah, I just noticed the 3Racing chassis on the not-in-stock area of thetoyz.com. It has a front bulkhead and all built right in, and I've never had any problems with 3Racing parts. GPM/Hot/etc I've had a lot of problems with.

The reason I would be interested in the chassis on ebay is that it is an open deck chassis so I could mount my aftermarket electronics easily. The 3Racing one looks sick though, so I might hold off for that one.

I think you can remove that little tray for the batt on the 3 racings one. that would make it decently open.

Actually, if you check the pdf on thetoyz.com inside the detailed info for the 3racing chassis, they talk about removing the battery tray and using an elastic band that they are going to provide. This would supposably allow tooless removal of the battery, as well as allowing slightly larger batteries to be used. Someone has been talking about a 250ma 10c 2s lipo that will fit into a modified stock chassis, and should fit in the 3racing chassis. I don't know who makes it, but it was in the oneeighteenth.com forums.

I have been to microtforum.com, but I do not have an account yet.
I'm pretty new to the micro-t.
