Cool. I'm paintin the same body for pimpsmurf.

You into oval racing or you just like the wedge shape? A lot of guys prefer these wedge bodies on their Mini-Ts so the can have some fender rubbing racing action, without the cars trying to climb each other. I'm considering it because the only track near me is a pair of ovals.

I like oval racing because it's fairly low cost. When you get trucks flying 20-40', things break and it gets expensive to keep up.

I really wish I could find a body without the dirt-oval slant on the cockpit. I would really dig that.

well i tried to put a racing stripe and botched it but other than that she turned out good enough. as far as handling i didnt notice any rub at all on the first charge. im going to get baja shell for offroad racing. i run it on the tennis court down the street once in a while and pretty much just run big ovals and shit.

cameras at home so you gota wait for the snaps.

well i learned two important things about painting lexan. first get some better tape. second, charge the dremel the night before.

oh well, other than a few jagged lines, id say i chopped her down fairly well for my first attempt at anything like this. i used parma paints and they are fuckin awesome.

as far as the shell goes its kind of cartoonish but it sort of reminds me of rc pro am. the front end shot shows the little rubber pads that they give you to keep the shock mounts from rubbing. i dig it. im not sure if im going to go buy another wedge or a baja tomorrow :) and some good tape or something.

Not bad for your first time with a Lexan body. :-o
Good tape would help, but if you rub it down really good, and lay a couple light mist coats before a heavy one, you should be good, just like I've always reccomended.

Those look like the exact same colors I used to use on my 1/10th scale cars. You sure you didn't mean Pactra paints? That looks like Cheezoom Teal to me. I wouldn't have thought you to be a pink sorta guy. :???:

WHATS A GAY SHADE OF PURPLE? I don't want to lead anyone at the track on. :???:

Cool down dude, its not like a homophobe thing, I was serious, those are the same colors I used on my 1/10th scale car, 'cept mine was pink, here's my ol' 'pede. I was just a little surprised with your choice of colors.
