Custom painted Exo-T Chassis

After a year of off and on use, I fanally broke one of the ears off the upper deck of my Exo-T chassis. I had a scrap piece of Lexan from a body I had done recently, and used that, even though it wasn't perfectly flat. I had hoped it would flatten out when all together, and it pretty much did. While I was at it it, I decided to give the whole chassis a make over.
It's all covered with stuff, so it doesn't look too exciting from the top.
... but flip it over, and it blings.
In case that last picture hurt your head.

I'm a big fan of "using what's available"
Although, I could have sent ya some higher quality speaker wire, all you had to do is ask.
Not bustin your balls or anything like that, I have an old Novak Explorer II with some 12 awg speaker wire soldered to it.

Great job Dave. I know I don't get to comment on all your work as of lately, but I still look everyday. Killer shit man.
Is it clear coated?

looks pretty cool.. what type of paint did you use, if i remember correctly the exo-t chassis is lexan, so the shine is pretty nice looking.

You mean the $5 MIC stuff from Pep Boys ain't the "good" stuff?
I was just tired of breaking wires off... this seems solid.

It's Lexan painted from the top. The top almost looked cooler, because it looked like the flames were etched into metal. I was tempted to use that, but would have worn right off.

I used Spaz Stix. This stuff is awesome, I'm buying their whole line of airbrush paints in a couple weeks.

I was thinking I'd have the flashiest wrecks, but I like yours better.
I realized after the fact that after all the work I did making a backwards "Crazydave" logo, the backwards Losi logo on the body makes the whole picture look like I mirrored it in PS. So to further confuse things, here's a shot with the other side of the body.

Crazy man... I thought it was an alluminum chassis
I'm guessing you used the spaz stix chrome? The alcladII chrome is really nice too. Looks like a mirror..

I thought he was refering to just the blue flames.

Those are actually Createx T-Shirt paint.
They actually bond better than the Parma paints, but the transparent colors are kind of cloudy. That's why I want to get the Spaz Stix clear colors. They should be really transparent to let the chrome show through.
