Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Thanks brothers, you're making me feel right like a pimp. I can tell the banked turn is gonna be fun. It gives you a noticeable boost coming off the corner.

I got the board and the 2 mil pvc sheet from a sign shop, where my wife happens to be the manager. You're gonna love this..... Their cost on the stuff was like $40, and the owner gave is to me! She says you can get that stuff at a sign-supply place.crazydave Posted: Where you getting that 2mm PVC? I want some.
And I'm gonna steal an idea from your track bro! Those railing decals or prints are awesome! Great realizm effect.Yagbols Posted: Far out track mang! i like the loopy thing and that banking!
Maybe another month or so I hope. I'm all hyped up on it with all the comps. I just got all the 5/8" railing today to glue and screw all the way around it. Maybe next weekend have the railing and track painted. Look for another update next weekend.payaso Posted: So far so good.. How long till she's finished?

Track update: Pit road and railings superglued in place......

10 tubes of superglue. 5/8" high. The railing is pretty strong and "springy". If you try to rely on them too much, they'll turn you the wrong direction. That's good, didn't want them to be an advantage. btw, the cat has been taking a strong interest.

I noticed a minor interference when driving over a screw. Will probably use the Corvette "glue and screw" technique, and remove them and fill, now that the track is glued to the supports. Used urethane glue for that. The opening in the pit road is where the garages/winners circle will go. There is also a 3" removeable section of railing, just off the banking on the right, so you can drive into homie town, mel's diner, CabaWabo's chop shop, etc. (heh, the ideas are flowing.) The handle cut-outs make it easy to move around, and will allow me to hang it on the garage wall.
Stay tuned brothers, next week the track gets a paving job, and ground-breaking on the model-railroading scenery. **TAKING SUGGESTIONS FOR SCENERY IDEAS**

damn SilentWolv! you're rockin out!
that track is looking freakin awesome!
I don't know about your cats, but mine leave wads of hair where ever they go, I keep em away from my track as much as possible, I hate having to clean out all those hairs tied in knots around my axles every 3 seconds! lol
You need some billboard advertisements, not necessarily just race track billboards, but maybe even the kind of stuff you'd see everyday driving down the highway? maybe a few jaloppies stranded on the infield?

Yeah, I thought I may have to use a tack-rag, or damp cloth before a race. That may be what happened to my left-turning ability on my car. Thanks for the billboard idea, I can see it around that back corner section. Maybe I can clip photos/advertising from micro-bit sites, to use on those. DarkTari has given a good list.CaboWabo wrote:...... I hate having to clean out all those hairs tied in knots around my axles every 3 seconds! lol......
