Stolis Track

Hey guyus I started building my track today. Its not very big. Only 3.5ft x 5 ft.
this is the back of the track all fastened together
This is what I used to fasten the 3 pieces together. Its backback strap.
and finally the driving surface with the sides on. I will be putting some clear plastic or something in the corners of course. and I'm missing a side. Need to find it! its around this place somewhere LOL
I used my sons old change table for the base and walls. I will be inserting a tight fit piece of cardboard on the inside of the side rails since the CB grips etter than the wood does. It will probably only work for 2.6 or lower motor but should be more fun that running on the kitchen floor LOL

That not a bad size to work with. At least it's 5' long, my track I just built is only 4'x4'.
It is cool racing in tight constraints. I'm gonna dig out those slow motors now.

Its assually 4"7" x 3"2". I tried just doing the perimetre of the track with a 2.2 and works great. 3.0 too fast though.
and my MW cars rule on it. I'll be able to hairpin turn in my green truck N/P

Looking good. I am picturing 5-6 cars coming off the corner have the option of the jump or drive-around.

Thats why I did that. Can have like 6 cars racing and you have the option. take the jump and pray or go the easy way.
I'll have it finished tonight and get some pics up ASAP

I used Some old thick wall paper I had kicking around for years. Its not slippery at all. My hardest tires grip it like glue. I accually almost flip over at every coner.
It'll be pimpin hardcore by the time I'm done.

and its done ( almost 2 strips of wallpaper on the unfinished corner. I ran outta tape and glue the same time. Heres the finished product.
Cand rive 2 cars wide no prob. I may make the jump higher. its more of a whoppti-do then a jump right now.

That came out really cool. I like the built in storage place, and that you only spent a couple bucks.

@ NOX - who's Tartin? Homie?
@CrazyDave. - I spent a totaly of 10 hours and $6.00
@SiletWolv - I thought it was a great idea too. ( too bad I didn't think of it ) I'll be posting some video as soon as I get used to driving on it. As far as racing? Will be kinda hard. No one I know likes bit and my wife can't drive a stroller. LOL
Thanx for the comments. I like it. And I've learned SOOO much for my next bigger badder track.
