I just found this BMX track right near my house! its pretty quiet though, perfect place for running the mini inferno :-o

It's right beside this creek, which looks perfect for a spot of monster bashing. i think i'm gonna have to balloon my electrics :???:

That looks like an awesoem place to play. Especially with a nitro monster truck. You could get killer airs off those jumps, they have a nice curve to them. How's the Mini Inferno handle those big jumps? I bet you can blast through that banked turn at full throttle.

the mini inferno with an x-speed motor handles them pretty well, except where they are rutted up by the bmx tracks. Normally just enough speed to gap the flat section and land at the top of the downramp.

You don't even need to steer through the banked turns (that ridge in the foreground is the back of a turn as well) - the angle does it all for you with a nice shower of dust off the lip.

I was having a blast here with the nitro truck, until a heavy hit off that back jump broke an engine mounting screw and it ate the center diff. now i'm having an assload of trouble finding a replacement.

I want to get some video up, but right now i'm waiting on the alloy for my miniturbo, a diff for my nitro (if i can ever find one) and new electrics for the half8. the hobby gods don't like me much at the moment...

What kind of truck do you have.

it's an old kyosho nitro thrasher, circa 1992.

I've tried contacting kyosho USA for parts but haven't heard back from them.

Dude, that's killer!
I'm near a 'real' outdoor R/C track, but they use that 6" currogated drain pipe for the borders,
so one is pretty much restricted to racing one way or the other.
It looks like you have a lot of freedom there. I like that openness more.
That was a sweet find!
