I noticed that the inside radius of the turn after the corkscrew seems to come to a point. Maybe if you could smooth that radius, it would open up the turn more. :???:

Right !

That's why I rebuilt this corner to be wider than before at the outside.

I don't know how to translate in english, but I use 2 panels like this :

http://www.castorama.fr/boutique/sku/sk ... tid=416271

So the track mesure 1,25 meters x 1,20 meters.

Oh ok man I see polystyrene here is the plastic you are using for the buildings and such. The material you are using is like a foam board I use that a lot but here in the US its used as insulation and its blue or pink in color.

great stuff man Viva la France! :-o

Yes ! A foam board !

But for the building, I use another material :

http://www.sadel.fr/produitPP.asp?num=530709

In french, they call it "carton-plume". It seems like a cardboard, but a slim foam in the middle.

The Homies is a little big, yeah it's right, they're really bigger than a BCG ! But it's the only figs I've found on eBay. Really hard to find the good size.

Let me show you something about the Corks Crew. This corner get to me some problems to solve and I had to work this road section again.

My first problem was the gap of the road. It wasn't enough to turn with any BCG. So I had to take out the sand, and then we can drive easier and faster.

Image

The second problem was the corner radius. It was too stiff, so it's clearly impossible to drive even if you stop your BCG before going on the Corks Crew. But how could it be possible ? When I drive a BCG, it's always at full speed, and never stopping for anything else !

But now, the CS has a good gap and it's more confortable to pass the next left corner. :-o

That is looking great Tony you have done some fine work on the track and the building. I especialy like the lights makes things look more real!

Look for the 1/64th Homies. They're sold with the Homie Rollers die-cast cars.

Thanks, but I don't believe that they're smaller than my Homies bought on eBay. Am I right ? :???:
If you got any pics to compare, it's very cool ! :-o

So now, here is my almost finished racing track :

The hole on the wall is the place for the Tomy Lap Counter.

And this is how to pass the Corks Crew now :

I just have to add some painted details and some stickers like sponsors for example. Why not with Bitpimps one ?

No all homies are not the same......

Here is a standard homie next to a bit:

And the 1/64 homie or Mini Homie next to a bit:

Both cars are the same scale but not the homies the mini homies are much better in scale.

The Track looks great man I like the barriers and the garage. If you print off sponser decals from the net it would look great! Now if we could just find a way to get my Garage I am building on your track. Humm might need to make a trip to france! :-o
