That new GT-R is interesting. I see some Skyline elements thrown in with some 350Z aspects. Kinda looks like a mixed up mish mosh to me. I'm not sure what I think of that yet. :???:
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

I never remember to take a camera so I didn't get any shots but did you see that mazda race concept car? I think it was call the Furai or Furia, either way it was one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. When I get some time I'll see if I can find some pics online...

The new GT-R looks a little better than the concept teasers, but why did they have to make it so ugly compared to the last several generations of Skyline? :(

I think it's because like CD said, they incorporated some Fairlady points in there.
It does look like a beast in person, couldn't get close enough to get any good shots of the interior.

Yeah, I'm a grave digger....

But, I saw one on the steet last night on the way to pick someone up at the airport........

I'm not really a "tuner" type of guy, but that thing is sweet. The looks aren't that bad, looks more like someone trying to do a professional Gran Touring type of car out of a 350 on steroids... but the sound of it was like nothing else I've heard. It was wicked.
We were on an interstate that runs through downtown Atl, with 5 lanes on our side, dark, raining, and stop and go traffic. But when the guy would jutt out into an opening in another lane and speed up, it was like it was on rails. It looked like the suspension wasn't even giving at all, even when he would stop abruptly.

I'm sure it rides like crap on bumpy steets, but it looks like it would do well in stock form on a circuit track.

I'd really love to have one just for the speed, but...damn, they are ugly. Maybe with some sponsor logos and multi-colored paint? :???: But, ugly or not, it does look like a lot of fun.

But if I had the money for a really fast toy I think I'd go 'Vette.
