Yeah, see, I had this nice smooth patch of pavement all picked out, but our computer crashed, I lost some serial #s so now I'm trying to figure the easiest way to do everything with freeware. (I'm using RAD tools to convert the Quicktime files my camera produces into higher quality .avi files, and so far it seems to work tons better than Quicktime Pro)...anyways, meanwhile we had to move out of that place with the smooth strip, and our camera got stolen the same weekend that happened.hogjowlz wrote:at the end it says "to be continued"
wheres the post contest vid that you promised me dear?
Yeah, excuses, excuses, but damn, it's been a rough couple months.

I was just thinking about the video I was supposed to make, but now I'm wondering where there hell I'm gonna find a nice smooth 20ft. patch. I'm thinking of filling in a section of the cracks on the basketball court.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's coming... someday.

Well shit, see what happens when you're workin 12 hour days and don't check in every so often!
CD, that custom of yours is SICK! I noticed in your vid that while running on the linolium the car was doing a lot of powersliding...INSTEAD of barrel rolling, did you powder the tires (or an extra DIRTY floor maybe
)?
She's a beauty, bring on vid2!

Actually, I'm using pullback tires on a floor that I got on my hands and knees and hand wiped with 409 and sponge. It was sticky as heck. (Notice I didn't say hell, it wasn't quite that sticky)I noticed in your vid that while running on the linolium the car was doing a lot of powersliding...INSTEAD of barrel rolling, did you powder the tires (or an extra DIRTY floor maybe )?
What is actually happening is my crappy ass video is blurring the barrel rolls, but the way that chassis set up, all the weight is very low, so that helped the car land on it wheels every time. Also because of the amount power, and the low center of gravity, I think I got a few power slides in there.

These cells are 40mah, there's a little less capacity, so shorter charge times, but I'll charge a stock ZZ 100mah cell for 6-7 minutes, for a 45 minute runtime, so I charge these about 3 minutes for a 15 minute runtime. (The runtime is also shortened I'm because using 2 SE batteries pushing more voltage)
You can charge dual cells with a 3v source, but that will take longer. I prefer to charge dual cells with 4.5v. Not sure the mA, because I'm still charging with batteries.
Or in other words, a Motorworks, or NKOK charger will work for ya.
