Four days ago this body had no left front fender from the front mount to the top of the fender...it took a fair amount of work ans some spare styrene plastic to reconstruct the front end (which also has a full front overlay)...from there it was a challenge to find a fitting paint theme...well the VDS does kinda look like a space ship, or more like the space shuttle. The PHOENIX name refers to the Phoenix ledgend of being born again from the ashes...fitting for this body I think.

Yeah it's a little rough, paint ain't perfect, but it is a beater body that was brought back from the dead and will only go back out on the track....where the wolves wait.

That's hot.
Nice touch with the rear turbines and thruster.

I bet that astronaut fruitcake Nowak wished she had this car to drive when
she went on her 1000 mile sexcapade.

I don't know man, I think I see some loose tiles, I hope you don't burn up and explode on re-entry!

Perfect body for those white dishes. Nice. 8-)

It just needs the name of the shuttle on the side.

The first one was called Enterprise (Yes, the Star Trek Fans won that one).
Sitting at my workbench in my comfortable little Hobbit hole.

It does have the name and logo on the top front fender (kinda hard to see in that photo) it was named Phoenix (you know....born from ashes, just like this body to be reborn from the mess it started as...)
