Recommend me a cheap radio transmitter for my nitro biplane?

All about RCs in the air. If it's a plane, a helicopter, a ufo, or anything else that flies in the air - it goes here.

I'm thinking of buying a used Ultimate R/C Biplane, its RTR but they guy doesn't want to sell his only TM. Where can i find a decent, but cheap 4 channel?

Well I would say get what I got... a Turnigy brand 9 channel from here:

And you're gonna need a receiver / transmitter combo for it here:

Costs about $120 shipped and you won't ever need another controller EVER. The corona stuff is 2.4ghz with well over a mile range. I'd really say get this stuff because the controllers in hobby stores are price gouged to hell. $50-60 for a base model 4ch TX... When hobbyking used to stock 72mhz they had base model 6-channel transmitters for $30 and a TX that normally costs $900 for $150.
