where to get parts

Post by davewithx »

I would like to find some motors, gears, axles, tiers, you know hop up parts. I would like to speed up my bits a bit. I am having trouble finding these, all of the motors i have found are pager motors but they have wires coming off the back I would like to find some that just pop in like most of the cars I have.

Does the color of the motor back mean anything? if so is there a chart as to what color have more rmp, or which one have more torque?

The easiest way is to hop in your time machine, and go back a couple years.

Bit Char-G / Microsizers had a Hop-up box that gave a hotter motor, an axle and idler, different swaybars... Also some of the special cars had tuning parts. Also most of the Bit Racer / Kitt Racer parts are the same

Zipzaps have had all kinds of various performance parts! many tire kits, motor and gearing kits, hotter motors that came with the special body kits,

Color coding on motors and gears is important. Somewhere around here there's a thread that spells it out

OK the flux core in my time machine went out. Other than that crap-shoot that is ebay is there anyplace that still sells this stuff or do I have to start hitting garage sales and hope for the best?

I'm gonna leave help on sourcing to someone else, i haven't been keeping my pimp hand strong.

I'd try putting a Wanted in SwapMeet.

what cars are you wanting parts for?

I just have a hand full of clones and a zip zap to two. I have an idea for a project I want to try. I'm just trying to find a reliable supply of parts after I funk up the ones I have.
