Feeling that itch down there......
LOL.......
Im a huge Epoch Indoor racer fan but ive got a strange desire to snag a ZZ SE and slap a custom body on the chassis (it is what it is....a small 2.5 inch semi propo car. Its not an Epoch...but i have 3 Epochs so im ok).
Im a bit concerned though as i like nice lowered bodies and or scale detailed bodies (preferably both). I just dont do high riding bodies.im not even trying to entertain that. I looked through the Flossin section but only saw one thread the specifically identified a ZZ SE that had been customized with a lowered body. Can one of playas direct me to a few links that showcase some fly SE rides in tat (or any ) section?
Or are these such a pain that no one has bothered with them?

I believe Ahh5hit has done some lowering on the SEs, might wanna look for some stuff by him.
here's one I believe he lowered and added skirting to - don't think it's an SE, but overall the idea, look, etc. should be the same for an SE

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Here's mine:
Here's an Audi from Sinned:
Here's another from HirotoR34:
Basically it was the first RX-7s that sat way too high, all the newer ones are just slightly too high, like Zip Zaps have always been. It easy to tab lower the bodies. The lights get in the way of lowering, but you can either remove them, or just trim out the mounts for the lights, and glue the lights straight to the inside of the body. That's what I did with my 'Stang, and it sits pretty low.
Look ma, still gots da lights:

Now see , more or less thats what i was debating. These cars are supposed to accomodate the original bodies with no issue ( heh..more or less) so the question itself may be pointless (whatever you can do withth e old ZZ's you can do with the current batch). If thats the case.........my bad for posting the question.CaboWabo wrote: - don't think it's an SE, but overall the idea, look, etc. should be the same for an SE

Crazy Dave ..i saw that following the post . DAMN fine ride you have there. Thats more or less what im after. Sleek , low and fast with the semi propo handling.
Are any of you using the SE more than the regular Zips and Bits?
Any further links to lowered bodies (custom none Shack bodies preferred but any) that look the way a car is supposed to look is appreciated . Thanks for the time pimps.........

ahh crazy found the goods... good one
I mean there are some differences, but overall - most stuff is still inter-changeable.
so like the headlights on the SE, are attached to the body and clip into the chassis, so if you add an old zz body = no lights (at least not without significant modding)
no dual celling an SE
but old bodies still fit, all the parts (motor, gears, etc.) are the same in the rear.
new front end obviously on the SE as well.

I'm sure as time goes by we'll start seeing a bunch of custom jobs on the SEs. I think the biggie, everyone was waiting for the SE fet nut to be cracked - now it has been so that's a step in the right direction.
I also think another reason we're not seeing many customs is because the SEs aren't quite as cheap as others.
Now that they're starting to pump out some cooler bodies for the SEs, I'm sure we'll see more custom bodies. I know I wanna rip into a few of em! lol
C-Dub aka Cabo dats me! lol
I think you're looking to thank crazydave
I guess you could say payaso and myself founded the site, we're both from St. Louis MO originally.

Ok........St Louis is full of real pimps. I just figured you were from my original neck of the woods as i couldnt see anyone but a Cali resident or Dirty South Vet making a site like this. And..well..St Loius sort falls into the latter
Big Ups folks. Im back to lurking after one last question in another thread.
