49mhz MicroSizer Pro Booster Chassis
Custom Dual Antenna's
Custom Rims
Custom Decals
Perfection Gold Finned Heatsink
Tomy 3.0 Lucifer Motor
Stock Orange Gearing

I used the Tamiya Green that Hiroto sent me and some Testors Green Flake on the Windows.

I originally didn't set out to paint the windows, but a blooper on my part forced me too. :-(

I also had plans for a stock sun roof, but the same blooper caused me to remove it. I rubbed all the stock paint off the top of the body with nail polish remover to get a clear roof.

The over all blooper was that I put the coats on a little too think and when I removed the masking, it got all messed up.

For the antenna's I used a Xmod antenna and cut it in half and the bent it into shape and soldered it onto the PCB. (It was a pain in the ass to solder these onto it. They just wouldn't stay in place.)

The rims were painted with the body color and Testors gloss black.

Here's the pics...

Hot damn p.i.m.p!!!!!! I knew that green would be put to good use. That looks kickass. Tamiya sprays are made to spray thin, and make unmasking easy. Don't worry though, I did the same thing the first time I used it. For all the fuckups you described (truth be told, I don't see it), it came out sweet!

Don't you love the way the light just plays with that color?

Totally digging the painted spokes.

Is there any green paint left at your hobby shop? lol
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Great work SG. That paint does seem to lay super smooth. Now my big question is how do you have it when Hiroto just used it on his Ram pickup? hehe

The one I have is still fresh. Thanks HirotoR34!!

Thanks for the props guys!! :-)

The problem was more with the primer that I put on too think. The paint went on pretty smooth and problem free.

Yes, I wanted to put some green gears on it, but just didn't get to it yet. Plus my supply of green gears is running low.

I can mix all kinds of shades of GREEN!!! Endless possibilities.

What kind of primer did you use? Was it Testors by any chance? I tried their primer and it sucks ass. I had to wait two days for it to dry to the point where I could sand it. Automobile grade primer works the best anyways

I use auto sandable primer from the auto parts store. I don't know the brand off hand, but I think its Dupli-color.

It wasn't the actual primer as much as it was me being in a hurry to get in from the cold.
