my custom overland fo sho

Post by midget_man1387 »

Well today I decided to go to work on my OL since I can now drive it again!! I was OOC for a loong time because of my servo box :o

so I went to work for like two hours designing and building stuff out of a coil of copper wire. And I'm very satisfied with the results, needless to say. It was hard because I had to straighten all of the wire before I bent it to shape lol

all in all, I made:
front brush guard
roof rack(probably will tweak that some more)
rear spare tire holder-custom made so I can use a locknut on it

and I also rerouted the antenna to the rear of the car. But enough blabbering, here are the pics..

a lot of credit goes to arch2b who gave me the idea when I was checkin out his mzr galleries!! lol

I dig it. You did nice work with the copper wire, but I might suggest painting it. It kinda looks like you have some plumbing going on on the outside of your car. Might be cool to give it a dip in that rubberizer stuff they make for tool handles. Bright red or black would work great. :-o
