Those dirty whore lovin rat bastards!!!
The renigged on letting me use the coupon. I talked to a guy during the day and he said no problem, when I get there the original guy was already gone and the other people look at the coupon details and said the coupon is good for in-store ONLY!
I put up a stink but they wouldn't budge.
I ordered the Heli anyway, but I'm still pissed about it.

"It's in the store, isn't it?"
Hey tuner, how does that mosquito fly?
They'll ship it to his house, and I believe that's not in store.
betty k has one of them others I think, and it looks to fly very well, but I suspect it's the second rotor. I could be wrong, cause I know dick about helis.
You can't get past the "realistic" look of the PicooZ. Like supe says, it's the lights.

Heya Clint-Clint wrote:9v adapter thing wont work on its own. if you look under the pcb, there's another set of battery terminals. Havent taken it fully apart yet, but i think it might be a 2.4v connection.
You may need to leave 2 batteries in while the 9v adapter is running.
i'll mess with it some more tomorrow.
Did you happen to do any digging on this? I've got some time this weekend, and grabbed the appropriate jack, was hoping to get in there and make this AC chargeable.
I was confused by your statement about leaving 2 batteries in while the 9v is running. What are the second set of terminals attached to? I'm nervous about digging into my only controller without some good advice. TIA.

(slight correction) The TX portion uses 3.6v-4.5v(3 cells), theSuperFly wrote:Heya Clint-Clint wrote:9v adapter thing wont work on its own. if you look under the pcb, there's another set of battery terminals. Havent taken it fully apart yet, but i think it might be a 2.4v connection.

charger uses 7.2-9v(all 6 cells). The 3.6v terminal leads are hidden under
the circuit board. Look under the pcb to determine which 3 cell positions
run the tx. (I cant recall which 3 slots it was offhand)
So, if you just leave the 3 batteries in for the tx, and then disconnect the
leads that use all 6 cells, and re-attach them to the 9v adapter, you will
be all set to charge on the 9v adapter and fly on the 3.6v AA batteries.

It reads to me that they're 4 leads (2 sets) from the battery bay. The Tx only needs 3.6V to fly the heli and breaks the battery bay at the appropriate point with one set of leads. The other set is oriented so that they get the full 9V from the battery bay and that charges the lipo. So just disconnect the 9V leads and run them to the AC jack and just fly the heli with 3 battssteelwoolghandi wrote:so if anyone does this can they post some pics of the conections that need to be made?

Well I bought one tonight so looks like I will be trying out this guy real soon I should have it as soon as Tuesday. Since the Ratshack wearhouse is in Fort Worth Texas I usally get it as quick as 1 day shipping.
I still like my PicooZ but wanted to try a little more and still stay Micro.
