speaking of folding foil into an accordian type shape, put that baby in the microwave and watch the light show!
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

well... it's not going to blow up or anything, but the life span of your microwave might shorten, but it shouldn't break it. just shorten the life of the magnetron inside the microwave. (thanks myth busters! lol)
you know, just about anything fun ruins something lol

Isn't that what makes it fun?CaboWabo wrote:you know, just about anything fun ruins something lol
Anyways, I've decided that this lap counter is a complete, and utter POS. Cars don't register half the time. Now what good does it do to only count half the laps?
I think my cars are too fast. When start at a complete stop, it registers almost every time, but when I make a complete lap and get a running start at it, it misses the car almost every time.

Hi
I have one of those bit racer IR timmers. Works reasonably well upto 15-20 cm (6-8"), but beyond that forget it. They were designed for the bitracer track and the reflector would normally be fixed to the counter with a 3cm gap. It is tricky to line up the reflector with the counter over bigger distances but if you get it right they work ok.
You can see mine in the promo vid on my site.
Cheers
