I couldn't agree more with crazydave's words of wisdom.jamiekulhanek wrote:Man 90% of your classmates will laugh themselves silly at you, do skateboards or something, i did the same thing in highschool, but on cross country bike racing, and had my bike on display...everyone loved it, even the teacher that was used to me doing stupid stuff with party poppers etc.
Man, I hope you are 14 or 15 years old. It would suck to be you if you're packin' such a shallow point of view, as an adult.

Heh, us old guys are like the Bit Pimp daddies, giving out words of wisdom to our Bit Teens on how to make it in the hurly burly Micro RC world out there. Honstly judging by this post and #1 Pimps car post, I feel like saying, "in my day we only had 1:10 scale, and we appreciated every min of our 25 min run time w/ 5 hour charging.... in the snow both ways....."

you got 25 minutes?!!! lol
back in the day, it took all night long to trickle charge your batteries for 15 minutes of run time...
things have come a far way since then

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

when i wuz a kid trickle charging involved a large water wheel driven grinding stone to prepare food for the goats that powered the treadmill in my 1:2 rc stage coach. remote signal consisted of courier pigeons.
synj, gr 8? is that the best you can do? man, i was writing more informative crap on toilet doors back then! even as a bit user i found it hard to follow, so everyone else is gonna say "what the hell is he crapping on about?!" no offence intended, just honest critisism. let us know how you get on

The older I get the less I care about what others think of me. If you think that essay is going to make other classmates laugh, imagine what it's like for someone closing in on 40 telling a group of friends what you do in your spare time. "Yeah, it's kind of like 'Monster Garage', but with tweezers, x-acto knives and soldering irons."
