I'm not a fan of Orange, but that's great on this car.

Seeing it with color on it really shows what an excellent job you did. Great work man.

orange

Post by jmays »

I was trying for a darker orange. I started out mixing brown and white enamel, i did not like that, so i added some orange, it getting better then, and finally i added a drop of yellow, pow thats it...

thanks for the props. it will have a black top. and the decals are going to be tough. i bought some water slide paper but i only have a deskjet printer, i will figure something out with the decals.

paint

Post by jmays »

Hi payaso, that paint would be testers and it is my special mixture.
brown, yellow, orange, white a little of each, funny shiz huh. I have the enamel paints and i have to thin then out some. i have about three coats on the citroen. i is hella shiny huh. 8-) u almost have to wear shades...

I am going to try and find some decals for this car, what are the differances between the scale size of cars. this cit is a 64 and the decals i have found on the net are for 32 and 24 slo0t car, ho stuff. do you think that these will work or will they be to big or small or what i dunno about the scale. is it the lower the number the larger the size, this is what i am thinking....

you is right about scale, bigger number = smaller size. slot car stuff sounds cool, canabits is the man to ask about that. i'm pretty sure he knows where to get all sorts of bit sized decals.
i used to be cool
