I'd go get a drill bit that small. Of all my bit-modding tools, my little mini drill bits and the little drill they go into are one of the most valuable.Nasphere wrote:Need some crafting help!!! Isn't that the Kronus Commando Precision Drill Set?
I DO own one, along with the Kronus Precision screwdriver set, and I must say they are just fantastic!!
I bought a cheapo precision screwdriver set months ago, and it's a POS. Two driver units have broke/come apart since. What I hated the worst was my inability to easily unscrew something. I'd even struggle to get the screws from the back of an MS controller unscrewed.
On these Kronus deals, the shaft is much bigger and comfortable in your hand, and the material used grips your hand to avoid slippage.
All the screws and drill bits neatly fit inside the unit for storage. The drivers are slotted at the bottom, so they fit nice and snug, and tighten in place by turning the end of the shaft like you would a chuck on a full-sized drill.
I wish I could show a pic of the cheapo ones I own, the ones I struggled with before I got the Kronus deals. They're just the chrome/silver cheap ones like you'd see in a Dollar Store.

NICE!!! I glanced at them, but didnt bother to really look cause RS carries sooo much "safe" BS, thought they would be REALLY CHEAP pieces of crap...I'll check em out, thanks guys

or, (this could be groundbreaking stuff) i'd say..... wait for it....... go buy some small drill bits!
i just use a hobby knife handle as my "precision" micro drill, works fine. i just use the lid of a pen on the end so it rotates freely
that enough? or do i have to tell you about the simple ball diff i've been meaning to make for the last year?!
