Those are all positives!! :-D

subtract

The steering is a negative. :-(

I hate it... I just can't stand the way they jack the body all up in the air, but the chassis still has the ground clearence of a Corvette.

Just really looks like 2 regular chassis' glued together

Hey RS, the idea of a monster truck is not to see how high you can get the body to sit, it's what the fuckin thing can go over. That POS looks like it'd get caught up on a bed sheet. i'd rather have a Stomper.

What a waste...

Well if it is tank steering it is an odd set up... The rear gearing is set up like any normal ride, and for it to steer like a power brute wouldn't both back wheels have to have their own motor and drive? Also, the 4 wheel drive thing has me intrigued, because I see no gearing on the outside of the front end... so, it must be something internal, like possibly a shaft or a chassis full of gear reduction...

I dunno... I guess we'll have to wait for someone to get one to know what's up for sure...

But it looks to me like those springs on the front are riding on knuckles... look at the bottom of the drivers side of the Hulk truck... that looks like the bottom of a knuckle down there...

Also... that "rear gear" in the pic with the motors and idlers has me intrigued also... the big protrusion with the square hole in the center must have something to do with the 4 wheel drive, because in the pic of the truck, it looks like that part of that gear goes into the rear end and engages a shaft that I'm assuming is square...

Like I said... I dunno.

Definately a mystery. I gotta get one just because I'm one of those wierdos that wants at least one of everything, and multiples of shit that I like LOL...

Scale speed of 70mph? Uh, is that slower, about the same, or faster than say a stock ZZ? Sounds really freaking slow, but I guess most people will want good torque out of these things and not necessarily speed. Nah, we want both, right?

hmmmmmm :???: i dunno about these. 4wd at this scale still means tank steering. but they will be way better than the power brutes.

The Mustang shells look pretty good. too bad they sit so high...what else is new? The headlights on the Vette look like ass. The monster trucks look interesting, too bad those RS jackasses put the passenger side front tire of the hulk truck on backwards for the photo.

Just a TidBit...

Look at the Monster Style picture a few pages back. The same truck has the same wheel backwards.

If the front wheels turn on the monsters, I might be able to disregard the ground clearance, but other wise, I'm with Payaso to an extent.

I always hated how when they do monster truck RCs in any scale, they just jack up the body while the chassis sit down low. So yeah, that irritates me, but like I said they do that in any scale, so I kinda expected it. It does look like it has more clearance than a Power Brute, and if they figured out how to do 4WD, and steer the front wheels I gotta give them credit, but if not, this is nothing new. Walmart has Hot Wheels RC monster trucks, and Bigfoot brand micro RC monsters. So RS would have to have had to really pull something out of their ass to make this worth $25 compared to the $15 of the other cars.

Any rate, I'll be getting one, but if they don't break out with Grave Digger, I'll be coming after someone.

The MS Power Brute has a nifty little system where they use their spring and magnet steering system to slide a gear back and forth. Lets hope they did not do something silly like that here.

With your spelling and grammar, you should really be in school.

Anyways, they aren't going to be in stock at your RS. All you have to do is type your zip on the RS site and see that they aren't in yet.

My biggest beef with ZZ's is yeah the body sits high, but instead of making the height from rocker to roof greater to cover more of the chassis, they look almost too small for the chassis. RS needs to hire some new product designers. The monster trucks look killer! At least they're doing something half right! :?
