kwikbb, can you post some photos of the underside of the PCB. I'd like to see how the thing switches freq.

man, what am i doin wrong? my 4 band had 3' range so i put on a telescopic antenna. Did that help? heeeeeelll no. i still get 3' range. but then TheFanMan comes and takes it away from me and then his car gets like 20'. Whaat the hell?

what a minute now! There's no stealing involved if you leave it here. You gave it to me because I didn't have a charger from overmodding things (I have problems with doing that). But, I took pics for ya fish, and here they are:

I did the mod job, but on this one the antenna is foldable and fits perfectly in cowfish's case.

O, and, #2: I only got better range is because I put a longer antenna on my car too, but... meh. I HAVE IT NOW! HAHAHAHAHA

but....but... he...and....you... but....they were... and he was... BAH. I gave the fool a new antenna, I dunno why it's happening... sometimes people have the bit god shine on them and that seems to have happened... a lot of times with me. But I did all the mods on his cars, and the one on the controller so it should have been exactly the same way I did it.

yep, i know. The bit god shined a little bit though, because after i was about to thow that POS across the room, i opened up and did a little snip snip to my 57mhz crontrollybob and bam! 30' range. No problem till the car fell apart spontaniously <sp?. In like 2 days, the axle came loose, the front wheels got all wiggly, the steering stopped and the pcb came unsoldered. I think it was telling me that after a year of having only one car, its time to get another one

now i'm looking for a 57mhz car to play "dremel" with.

oi! don't take all the credit there. With me 4 band: You did the initial hackin' and fittin', then it all fell apart, (we learned about hot glue and it's no beneficialness) so i opened it up and did some more hackin' and fittin, and eventually screwed the antenna in with a 2" long wood screw

and then cut the extra 1.75" off with a hacksaw. Man, that was soo much fun. You should see the back of it, maybe TheFanMan should take a pic.
