I was going to lower the tabs, but after I cut them off and test fitted the body on, it held in place due to the tight fit after pushing the chassis up in the body. It doesn't move at all. I also added the skirts, so that helps make it appear lower too.

BTW, I just finished painting it and doing the new DUB's wheel mod...

Thanks guys! I'm planning on putting the lights in one of the newer regular Zip bodies like the '67 Camaro SS or something. The SE bodies just plain suck compared to the regular bodies.

Dude, I am going to do something like that to my SE...
I gotta head over to my crap-ass LHS and see if they have styrene sheets.
And that Tamiya paint.
But, I am afraid to use gloss coat.
I've heard bad things about it... :-? :?
I'd like to be like this...> without gloss,
OR have the gloss screwed up and be like>> :-( :x

Well, I can tell you that the Tamiya paint went on a LOT nicer than anything else I've used. If you are scared to use the gloss, the color paint itself shines like glass. I went ahead and threw the clear coat on for protection. I only used one pass/coat of the clear. This stuff goes on smooth.

Yeah, I have used Tamiya paints on models before...
 They are awesome.
Do you need to use a primer coat?
Will Tamiya paint stick to auto touch-up spray? :???:
