Not sure about the auto touch sticking, but I didn't use any primer at all. I even had dark spots on the white body from sanding and it covered and blended well. I used about 6 passes/coats of the color and followed with one good coat of gloss. I sprayed from about 12" away and didn't have any problems with running. I waited about 10 minutes between coats.

I ran out today and bought more Tamiya colors to paint some other cars.

Ok cool....
Come Moday, I will have paint and styrene.
Tuesday, our houses deal closes (We are moving.). I will then put on the styrene and sand it down. Yay for CA glue!! :-D
Wednesday, maybe some more fine detailing to the kit and masking.
Thursday, I will commence painting!
I'm thinking of doing a dark blue, or a bloody red...
 :D

A dark red would look good. Which body are you doing this to?

Alright, awesome!
Thanks for the info...
Hey I got some brass thingies that would work well as exhaust tips. I used two for dual exhausts.
You want some?
They are brass, flanged, and they are the same circle size as the FC's tailight circles...Maybe just a bit bigger.
