All my motors are fine on mine. It's the lipo that's gettin ready to shit the bed. I wait to charge it and everything too..
Might take it back for another, but if it's gonna happen again.
Then again, I might have bent the main rotor shaft.
Full charge barley gets it off the ground, but about 2 min in, it starts to take off.

I've had the same problem, but it was solved with new transmitter batteries... this thing eats the fuckin' shit out of 'em. I think I'm going to buy another, just to make a AC charger. Plus, I wanna try to make a classic 'copter, like:payaso wrote:Full charge barley gets it off the ground, but about 2 min in, it starts to take off.![]()

Positive man this thing was new out of the box and flew it in clean areas also checked the shaft and motor. The wires to the Rear motor are real fine like the ones in a bit that run to the magnets so one good crash could really mess them up.beanoman wrote:Err are you guys totally sure theres no hair/fux on the shaft? single tiny strand of anything will do exactly what you guys said...
My next one I will add a little liquid electric tape too just for some added protection.
Its kinda funny but my larger 4 channel copter when I got that in the first hour I had it the rear tail motor went out in it also and I had to order a new one. Maybe its just me?

It's sort of a monocoque (betty.k wrote:first thing i'd do with one of those is remove the polystyrene body, it will weigh less and give it a narrower profile. this will translate into longer runtimes![]()
and i think the minimalist look is cool too.

Same thing, but mine has flame graphics. I'll try and pop a shot of it soon.evoraptor wrote:I got one... this the one you have SF?
Ehh... I can handle it.. kinda.. (as you can see the shite stuff on the trim rotor .. I hit my ceiling cause I was a bit trigger happy...)
Beans.. you have more than 1 right? Make a Chinook.![]()

Wow, after all the hype and waiting i have nothing but problems with this. My first personal impression, what a waste of time and cash.
The controller turns on when it wants too after me flicking the switch dozens of times, and now after 1 run it refuses to charge.
I can only hope its operator because i really want to get this thing in the air!

Okay, I'm glad I waited on getting this thing what with all the little problems everyone is reporting on it.
So, going right up to the next level from here...What's the smallest, 3channel Heli out there? Or I should say, the smallest pre-fab Heli (I don't know squat about 'em so building my own shit ain't in the mix).
I see that HeliHobby.com looks like a decent resource for info, but the small thing they've got is the Piccolo Micro (at least I think that's the smallest they've got)....Anything smaller?

i'm only just learning the ropes myself, so i can't really advise you well.
helihobby is a good start, they do have a really small one called the "micron" but i don't think it's rtf and it's expensive.
http://www.helihobby.com/html/precision_heli.html
the problem with small helis is that they're difficult to fly, we're better off learning on a big heli first.
i recommend looking at a counter rotating type heli first, they're fairly small (mine has a 12 inch diameter main rotor) and pretty stable.

I need help!!
I just got an email and I need to know what to tell this person ASAP.
Maxx

I just got an email and I need to know what to tell this person ASAP.
What should I tell her? She's who's getting the heli's for me. How will she be able to get them, should I get her address? She isn't in the states for much longer.Hi ..... or .......
Whoever gets this first...unfortunately we were not able to get the helicopter's...the guy at radioshack checked the comp system and they don't have any at any of the radioshacks so i not sure if it is only and internet special or something and at toys r us they never heard of it.
So just email me back and let me know what to do, that is if u want something else instead, maybe the game for the Nintendo DS?
Maxx

The Radio Shack that I shop at all the time said it would be the 15th before the heli's arrive at the stores. Not sure which month. He did say that RS would have a small heli with tilt features but he couldn't give me the cost or size. He said they should be out Oct 15th at the same time the new car will be out.

Well i got the charging situation figured out, i was under the impression it would charge the same as the aero ace.
The switch though was still a problem i had to flick it like a monkey on crack back and forth the controller would come on when it felt like it.
So i said i'd live with it, and left the controller on through out the runs etc so i could have some fun, then in the middle of my 3rd run right after a charge it stopped in dead air. I thought it was light interference so i took it in a dark room and all i got was nothing. So i turned it off for a bit came back and got the same thing, no signal what so ever.
I'm dissapointed, the quality impressions i've got of this heli atm reminds me of Iwaver.
It's going back and I still havent decided if i'll try to pick up another one or not, i doubt it.
