super slicks, buy 2 the 3rd free?

so i'm browsing the sunday paper and see the toys r us ad. on the back page it says...

"buy 2, get the 3rd free on all fast lane vehicles, playsets and r/c cars"

sounds like the super slicks should be included. good time to stock up!

Nope Super Slicks are not part of that deal, but I brought one home anyways.

I should mention my Toys R Us never honored the clearance price for KIT Racers, so they might just be being difficult again, but they did have a sign for the other Fastlane vehicles, and no signs by the Super Slicks, and of coarse cashiers are oblivious to what's going on.

Which one did you get? Fast little sucker isn't it? The drift function, although I thought was gimmicky, is actually pretty fun.

hmmm. sounds like it's time to bitch at the manager. i checked amazon (toysrus.com) and the regular superslicks are definitely included in the sale. the new ones aren't online yet so i wasn't able to check on those. anyway, i'll be sure to bring the ad with me when i go. it does say "all" fast lane rc cars.

well i just got back from my local tru. picked up the number 8 subie, the blue rx-7 and the black benz.

no need to argue as the 3rd one rang up free!!!

3 "fully loaded" for 42 and change, tax included. can't beat that with a stick.

See that proves my local TRU is fucked. As I've said this is not the first time they've pulled that crap on me.
