Purple MM Cuda

Post by steelwoolghandi »

Well I haven’t posted here in a while but have really gotten back into 1/64 RC cars thanks to seeing the contest cars ya pimps have been putting out! Great work you are all winners in my book!

I just finished up a Muscle Machine Cuda removed the Goofy big motor, removed and replaced the wheels and tires (added bling) and removed the stupid pipes and replaced with aluminum pipes! The hood is completely custom with poly and putty and added a little more paint detail! I have posted before and after pictures.

Let me know what you think and if any opinions on adding more or taking more away?

well no shit, that looks great man.

so is that a different shade of purple or is that just the sorta-sepia effect on the first shot making it look different?

you made it look much better for sure.
it was funny as I was reading that, I read "removed the Goofy big motor..." and had just the first image in my view while reading. I was like "wtf is he talking about? how big was that mutha!"

that hood looks like it's begging for a decal or something.

nice work dude.

thanks guys

Cabo the first picture was under a more yellow light so came out looking strange but the finished picture is what the purple really look like!

you know you are right the hood does need something like a decal will have to see what I have the real picture I took the hood from did not have anything on it.

thanks again working on some more ya'll have inspired me!

Killer combo man. I love the wheels, but then again, I'm a wheel man.

Can't go wrong with American Muscle. I dig it.

Nice job on the pipes too man.

How does it run?

that really looks awesome, the rims set it of beautifully. :-)

if i were to critisize i'd say the rims are just a tad blingy, i'm thinking more like that smoke chrome look. but it looks hot, don't kill it on a maybe!
i used to be cool

Glad to see you back in the 1:64 bro. Nice mod for sure. I kinda agree w/ betty, the rims look dope, but w/ the matte hood I would probably tone em down a bit. Oh, and lesbos? HELLZ YEAH! Great work all around, I love how much you changed the look without really having to paint her all over again.

One last thing, do those front tires still turn? Looks tight.

the wheels are vary tight but they turn and just miss the wheel wells! (I had to do the little inside the wheel well shave trick) the wheels and tires are wider so the turning radius is cut down a little (won't turn as tight as before but it still functions vary well and the wheel grip is even better!

thanks agian for all the nice coments as we speak I am working on another 1/64 scale for A contest SG is having at Rippers! Him and his Friggin Green color almost as bad as my Purple!! :?

gotta agree wit the masses, nice rig ghandi. Doing all that and not messing with the origional paint is hard to do. You pulled it off nicely. I'm thinking a hemi decal would look killer.
